Unfortunately I cannot discuss particulars until the game has released, so the below is simply a general outline of my responsibilities without specific examples.

Design Areas of Responsibility
The following is a general idea of the areas of responsibility I look after as a designer on Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

Gameplay Design

Created designs that fulfilled design direction intent and provided in-depth documentation and references.

Presented designs to a wider field of departments such as Audio, VFX, Art, Code etc.

Acted as a go-between for the various different departments, answering questions and ensuring they had all they needed to work.

Prototyped new gameplay mechanics including flow control, combat, enemy boss attack patterns, player interacts etc. using UE4 blueprints.

Ownership of the gameplay mechanic from initial design through to release implementation.

Completed balance passes to ensure difficulty matches player expectation.

Level Design

Created whitebox designs for various levels within the game, ensuring they met the requirements set forth by the lead designer.

Worked with environment artists to flesh out the levels, ensuring the new art did not infringe on the design play space.

Where possible, made concessions in the design to accommodate large art set pieces to give the player a sense of awe.

Created story-specific areas that adhere to cinematic and art constraints.
